TAVRQ
An RSS reader that sits beside your social feeds
RSS is still the simplest way to follow a site without an account or an algorithm. TAVRQ reads any RSS or Atom feed and mixes it into the same feed as your social platforms.
Add your feedsWhat you can follow
- YouTube channels, without signing in to YouTube. Their videos play inline.
- Subreddits, by adding
.rssto the address, for example reddit.com/r/flutterdev/.rss - Blogs and news sites, most of which publish a feed.
- Podcasts, through their feed address.
- Newsletters on Substack and similar services.
- Any fediverse account, which usually offers an RSS address too.
Following a YouTube channel by RSS
Use this address, replacing the end with the channel's ID:
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=CHANNEL_ID
The channel ID starts with UC and appears in the channel's address, or in its share options.
How it works
Paste one address or many, separated by commas or new lines. TAVRQ checks the first one really is a feed before saving, then fetches the latest entries each time you open your feed. It reads feeds that publishers make available for exactly this, so nothing is scraped.
